🌿 About the Founder

I’m Sandy Gowland, an herbal practitioner, educator, and lifelong student of plants.

My approach to herbalism is grounded in clarity, safety, and respect for the traditions and ecosystems of North America. I believe herbalism should feel accessible and practical — something that supports everyday life rather than overwhelms it.

This academy was created to offer thoughtful, step-by-step learning for those who want to understand herbalism deeply, without rushing or unnecessary complexity. Here, the focus is on preparation methods, responsible use, and building confidence through understanding.

Whether you are just beginning or returning to herbalism after time away, my hope is that this space feels steady, welcoming, and grounded — a place where learning unfolds naturally and with care.
